Introducing Ignite24
Ignite24 is an organisation that aims to support and provide mentoring and coaching to young sporting talent and schools.
The core focus will be to ensure there is opportunity for all to be able to access high quality services that are bespoke to their setting. Achieving this will allow everyone to believe in their own ability and shape their future dreams!
Performance Coaching
Performance Coaching opportunities will be offered initially in football and hockey, with opportunities to expand into other sports in the future. These coaching sessions will include 1-1, 2-1 and small groups of aspiring athletes to receive more focused and specialised training to develop skills in either sport.
Each session will be an hour long, and there will be special offers during school holidays. Venues for these sessions to be confirmed at a later date
Mentoring for Schools and Clubs
We are embarking on a new initiative to design specific mentoring programs that will harness the power of sport to support children who may find it challenging to engage in school for various reasons. Using sport as a vehicle, our program is designed to raise self-esteem and build confidence. Our mentors will be role models and will incorporate 1 to 1 and small group sessions into our programs.
We-are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Canoville Coaching,
an organisation with a proven track record of running successful mentoring
programs in schools across Nottinghamshire and Derby. We believe their
expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals and
make a positive impact on the children we aim to support, particularly those
who are disengaged, lack confidence, suffer from anxiety, or experience school
avoidance. We are confident that this collaboration will lead to the
development of effective and engaging programs that will benefit our students
and help them thrive both in and out of school. Please feel free to reach out
